Teaser Tuesday

Hello lovelies!

So, if you're reading this and noticing an alarming gap between the date of this post and the one below, perhaps i should explain my rather lengthy absence. I think i can summarise it all in one word: Life. For a really long while there so many things were happening that i had to sacrifice my blog, something i truly enjoy, to work through the stressful and necessary things. But i now seem to have emerged from the other side, and hopefully i can get this old thing up and running again.

Today is my return to the weekly tradition known as Teaser Tuesday, where book bloggers post two teasers from their current reads to try and entice others to read some fantastic (and often unknown) books. This week i have been enjoying reading Dreams of Gods and Monsters by the fabulously talented Laini Taylor.

So there you are, my two teasers from this novel. If you haven't had the chance yet i would absolutely recommend checking out this series and any other of Taylor's works.
