Follow Friday #26 - Feature

NOTE: I'm really sorry i had to post this so early, but because i live in Australia the time difference means i need to. Unfortunately, the rest of you guys will have to wait until our lovely hosts decide to post their own Follow Fridays with the linky lists :(

Guess what guys? After weeks and weeks of waiting, i finally got the chance to become a feature on Follow Friday, perhaps the most well known blog hop in the book blogging universe! If you're a newbie, you should totally go join over at Parajunkee or Alison Can Read, as it's a great way to gain new followers and find awesome new blogs :D

This week it's my turn to be in the spotlight, and though it might take me a while i promise i'll try to follow back every person that follows me. Unfortunately, due to the amount of people who are probably going to visit i won't follow people who don't end up following my blog. So, if you leave a comment please make sure to follow and i'll definitely return the favour!

FF 2012 Feature & Follow #80

Q: Define what characteristics your favorite books share. Do they all have a kickass heroine or is the hot love interest the Alpha Male?

Most of my books are centred around a strong, smart heroine who  can hold her own and isn't intolerably stupid. I would be the first to admit that i probably focus more on paranormal stories, including fantasy, but romance also appears quite frequently too (especially when a hot guy is involved, i can take or leave the Alpha Jerk Syndrome).

I'm sure everyone's elses answers are going to be so much cooler, so follow, leave a comment, and i'll come and drool. I only get to be a feature once, so i'm going to enjoy it! Oh, and before i forget, here's the linky list so you can move around easier (aren't i so thoughtful?):

Omnom Out,
Imo <l:)>

  1. Hey! I'm a new follower from Follow Friday! Yes, I know I'm really early, but I've always been a firm believer in "the early bird catches the worm." Also, I can't really see the Linky list. Maybe it's just my browser or I'm really going blind. ;) Just thought I'd point that out really quickly. :)

    1. Oh, and I also meant to say that I agree with you! I LOVE strong heroines who are also smart! And I also focus more on paranormal stuff. Don't worry, though, your answer isn't much cooler than mine, even though I'm not posting mine until later in the day. ;)

    2. You're right, the HTML for the list must have screwed up! Although that's probably a good thing since i posted before i was meant too...

  40. I agree, nothing is more annoying than the female protagonist who is constantly making stupid, brainless decisions and has to hide behind other characters. I mean, getting help from others is fine, and we all make mistakes, but I really can't stand those female characters who make the same stupid mistakes over and over and don't understand why things aren't working out for them.

    Congrats on being featured!
