Q: Happy Father’s Day! Who is your favorite dad character in a book and why?
That's a toughie, mainly because most of the books i read have a disturbing lack of parenting influence. Unfortunately, this seems to be YAs fatal flaw.
I've seen Arthur Weasley mentioned a lot, and i can't help but agree. He's just so cute with his muggle obsession, and how he calls his wife 'Mollywobbles'...awwww.

Anyways, that's my lame-ass answer, who's your favourite fictious father?

Have an awesome friday,
Imo xx

  1. Totally agree about that! Especially with YA! Even the adult books I was thinking of--at a very ungodly hour of 3am--didn't really have any dads! One of the last ones I read had a bad one, so I definitely wasn't choosing him!

  2. Yeah, it's an unfortunate occurrence in YA books, the lack of present parents. It's an easy excuse for teenagers to have so much freedom: busy parents, neglectful parents, kids away at boarding school, etc. It's nice to be reminded with topics like this that there are a few great ones out there. Like Mr. Weasley, he's a perfect answer!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm following you back :-)

  3. Definitely agree with you. Parents are practically non-existent in YA books. New Follower :)
