So most of you know Parajunkee and her awesome blog, and how every friday she hosts a blog hop called...wait for it...FOLLOW FRIDAY!! (Surprised you there, didn't i? ;D)
Anyways, it's a great way to meet new people and find blogs, and for others to find you. I almost always get a couple of new followers through it, so i definitely encourage everyone to join and say 'hi' to a few lovely people.
This weeks Q: Genre wars! What's your favourite genre and which book in that genre made it your favourite?
That's a toughie, but if i had to choose i'd probably go with YA paranormal or Urban Fantasy. For the UF, it's City of Bones all the way, and Kiersten White's Paranormalcy is so bleeping amazing that whenever i see someone reading it i can't help but tell them how awesome it is (even though they already know :O)
So what's your favourite genre? Are you more of a Dystopian fan or is it true luurve that hooks you?
If you're hopping through or just visiting feel free to leave a comment, i always read all of them and visit the blogs they came from. I love meeting new peeps, and it's a great way for me to find new blogs that i can follow in the future.
Have fun hopping!

New follower, here. You have excellent taste. Then again, I may be biased since I read and review largely the same genres. ;) I hope you have a great weekend.

I agree-- Paranormalcy rocked :) I chose dystopian fiction for my fave genre, but honestly there are just too many good genres out there, and it depends on what kind of mood I'm in! Have a great weekend,

Thanks for hopping by my blog! I'm glad you like the name because I usually worry that no one understands what the heck I mean. (I'm kinda on a math theme with my names; my alias is Elisquared...lol)
ReplyDeleteSo as you know I LOVE contemporary YA, but I read all of it, and paranormal and UF probably flip to number one quite often (Paranormalcy was FANTASTIC! I can't wait until Supernaturally comes out!)
New follower! Love the frogs, cute.
