Follow Friday #22

Q: In light of 11.11.11 and Veteran’s Day tell us about your favorite soldier and how he or she is saving the world. Fictional or real life.

In real life, my soldier has already gone and saved the world, and paid the price. My great uncle Arne (Ar-Nuh) went and fought in WWII in the Air Force, and even though he left behind a young family i know that they're extremely proud of what he did.
On a more recent note: a friend of mine from school recently got deployed to Iran. Last time we spoke he sounded like he was in good spirits, so i wish him luck and hope that nothing too exciting happens, we all want him to come home safe.

So who are your real life/fiction heroes? This Rememberance day is a great day to celebrate them, and i hope you guys made your wish at 11:11am! If you didn't, you'll just have to stay up til 11:11pm instead :D

    It definitely seems hard to have lost loved ones in war. I don't have any family that was in any that I'm aware of. So I chose fictional!

    Its so hard losing loved ones in war. I'm wishing your friend a very safe tour and a quick homecoming. Wishing your great-uncle and friend a very Happy Veteran's Day.
